Saxdor 320 GTC Wins Boat of the Year Award in the “Best Fun” Category in Japan

The Saxdor 320 GTC has been awarded Boat of the Year Award in the “Best Fun” category. The award ceremony was held on March 20, 2025, at Pacifico Yokohama during the Japan International Boat Show, the biggest event of its kind in the country.

The “Best Fun” category is presented to the boat that delivers the most thrilling and enjoyable onboard experience, one that’s easy to drive, comfortable to be on, and makes time on the water genuinely fun for everyone onboard.

The Saxdor 320 GTC stood out thanks to its balance of drivability and clever use of space. With a fully enclosed wheelhouse, it offers comfort in all weather conditions, while still keeping the boating experience open and social. The fold-down side terraces expand the usable deck area when at anchor, creating a spacious and flexible platform that enhances time spent onboard. Combined with performance that’s responsive and effortless, it offers a driving experience that suits both experienced boaters and beginners alike.

The award was received on Saxdor’s behalf by our Japanese dealer Ad Custom Yacht, who has played a key role in bringing Saxdor models to boaters across Japan. The Japan Boat of the Year (BOTY) awards are judged by a panel of marine journalists and industry experts. They evaluate all boats and personal watercraft sold in Japan across seven categories: Large Boat, Medium Boat, Small Boat, PWC, Best Value, Best Fun, and Best Fishing. Judging criteria cover everything from design and performance to safety, environmental impact, concept, and overall value.

After multiple recognitions in Europe, it’s especially rewarding to now receive this level of recognition in Asia.
